Do you have an easy keeper who can't have grass or needs limited grazing time? Do you want your horse to have more movement and enrichment than just a dry lot?

We now offer retirement boarding on a fully surfaced 3/4 mile track system. We provide the same personalized full care boarding with the natural lifestyle of outdoor living in a herd as our pasture board but on our track system.

Horses can benefit from the best of both worlds when living on a track system. Horses live in herds on a  3/4 mile dry lot loop instead of a pasture.  The fully surfaced track is fenced with safe professionally installed fencing. The horses get plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. If they are grass sensitive they no longer need to wear a muzzle. Our horses cover several miles a day on our 3/4 mile track seeking their water, shelter and food.

Horses travel to 3 different feeding stations dispersed around the track to encourage movement. We also utilize timed gates so access to the hay stations are available through out the day and night. Our track has wide areas for feeding and  loafing or rolling in and a sand loafing area. There is a wooded area with natural footing and a pea gravel area at the waterer to help keep hooves healthy.

For horses that are not grass sensitive there are 2 attached grass pastures which is similar to an Equicentral system.

We are able to accommodate the needs of various horses. We specialize in the care of horses with metabolic challenges such as EMS Equine Metabolic Syndrome, IR Insulin Resistance and PPID Cushings.
